STOLYPIN’S AGRARIAN REFORM IN THE RUSSIAN CONSERVATIVES’ ASSESSMENT                              AND ITS INSTITUTIONALIZATION IN THE PARTY PRESS

The article conveys a position of the right parties of Russia in the beginning of ХХ century concerning one of the components of Stolypin’s modernization programs - an agrarian reform. On the basis of conservative parties’ publications the author proves, that the agitation-and-propaganda activity of the parties consisted of criticism against the most vulnerable aspects of the reform and of formation of negative public opinion towards them. According to the author, this fact played a significant role in social aversion of Stolypin’s variant of modernization of Russia.
